The Greater
Milwaukee Committee
We comprise 200 passionate business and community leaders who work together to make Milwaukee the best place to live, learn, work, play, and stay for all. Driven by research and guided by our principles, we seek and support innovative solutions to community challenges. We convene and collaborate with other organizations in the community to create new ideas and implement solutions, increase engagement in the community, and advance quality of life. We are currently focused on prioritizing the fiscal strength of our region, education, public safety, and infrastructure, all of which play an important role in creating a vibrant community.
Our Mission
The GMC is Milwaukee’s social innovation team, cultivating an equitable and thriving city. We engage local leaders and the community to collaboratively explore, create, and support impactful solutions to our most pressing civic and social issues.
